DR. GREGORY S. SEXTON, DDS, AT YOUR SERVICE

Our gentle team performs your treatment in a relaxed, caring environment. We use the latest technology and treatment techniques to deliver the best possible result at every appointment.

At our dental practice, we firmly believe that patients are the best people to be making decisions about their own health. So while we will recommend treatment options based on your individual needs, you are ultimately the decision-maker about which treatment plan you would like to pursue.

Greg Sexton, DDS

Dr. Sexton was born and raised in Morristown. His father was a dentist, and his mother was a dental hygienist. This, combined with his desire to serve the community and help people, greatly influenced his career choice.

After graduating from Morristown West, he attended Walters State Community College in Morristown. He received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) in Memphis, Tennessee.

Dr. Sexton has been practicing dentistry in Morristown for more than 30 years since joining his father’s practice in 1987. Continuing education and keeping up with new developments in dentistry are important to Dr. Sexton. He has continued to study, completing Continuums 1-5 at the The Pankey Institute in Florida. He also completed courses in Occlusion, Restorative Design, and Facially Generated Treatment Planning at Spear Education in Scottsdale, Arizona. Patients trust Dr. Sexton and appreciate his exceptional attention to detail. He’s always striving to provide the best treatment possible for his valued patients.

Outside of the dental practice, Dr. Sexton enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He and his wife, Connie, are active members at Heritage Fellowship Church in Jefferson City, Tennessee. He also enjoys working in his yard, watching Tennessee sports, playing the guitar, singing, and enjoying musical theater.

Meet the Team

Gina

Registered Dental Assistant
Gina has been working with Dr. Sexton for more than 30 years and is known for being organized and efficient. She moved to Morristown from Greeneville soon after she completed her registered dental assistant exam. Gina has additional training in nitrous oxide sedation and coronal polishing. Outside of work, she is an active member of The Avenue Church and a volunteer in the baseball program at Lakeway Christian Academy, where her son and two exchange students that live with her family play. Gina is also a mom to two adult children and a grandmother to five grandchildren. She enjoys reading and gardening, but at this point, her life very much revolves around her boys, their baseball, and other activities.

Jada

Registered Dental Assistant
Jada attended dental assisting school at Ross Medical Education Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. She also has training in nitrous oxide monitoring, radiology, and coronal polishing. Jada has been with the practice since 2021. When not at work, she loves spending time with her young nephew. She also coaches 11- and 12-year-olds in softball for Morristown Parks and Recreation. Jada loves her Great Dane, who weighs more than she does. She also has an obsession with chicken wings and tells us she could eat Chick-fil-A five days a week!

Teresa

Registered Dental Hygienist
Teresa grew up in Morristown and graduated from Morristown West High School in 1983. She attended East Tennessee State University and has additional training in ASDH with nitrous oxide monitoring. Teresa has been with the practice for more than 20 years and built strong relationships with our patients throughout that time. She now works two days a week and plans on sticking around until retirement! Teresa is married to her husband, Ronnie, and they have four daughters and one son between them, along with three grandchildren. Teresa’s hobbies include kayaking, gardening, reading, and hiking.

Meghan

Registered Dental Hygienist
Meghan is the newest registered dental hygienist to join our team at Dr. Gregory S. Sexton, DDS. Meghan attended Walters State Community College, where she achieved an Associate of Applied Science in pre-dental hygiene. She then attended Roane State Community College for her Associate of Applied Science in dental hygiene. Meghan also has her registered dental assistant license and completes continuing education courses to keep her skills up to date. Outside of work, Meghan enjoys kayaking and being outdoors. She loves to see beautiful new places and spend time with her boyfriend of three years and her Dachshund, Milo.

Jamie

Scheduling Coordinator
Jamie is our scheduling coordinator and joined the practice in 2022. She attended Walters State Community College. Jamie works the front desk and plays a critical role in the team by welcoming patients, scheduling appointments, looking after accounts, answering the phone, and ensuring our patients get the best customer service possible. Jamie has been married to her husband, Chris, for 11 years, and they have two kids. Outside of the practice, Jamie loves spending time with her family and friends, cooking and baking in her kitchen, and performing in the local theater. She also knows American Sign Language.
